Our Prayer Ministry

"Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working."      James 5:16

Prayer is our time of fellowship with God.  It builds our relationship with our Heavenly Father and prepares us for His work.  At Northside Baptist, there are many opportunities for participation in the Prayer Ministry.   Prayer also is an opportunity to lift other people's needs to God. Northside Baptist provides opportunities for you to request intercessory prayer.

Requesting Prayer...

Is there a situation that you would like others to pray about? We consider it a privilege to intercede on your behalf to Our Heavenly Father.  According to your wishes, your request will remain confidential or, at your request, can be shared with others in our church body.

Prayer Chain...

We can place your prayer request on our Prayer Chain at any time of the day or night for emergency or immediate prayer needs.  If you have a crisis (life or death) situation, a special prayer team is ready to pray for your confidential request.

Prayer Request Card...

When you attend Northside Baptist Church you may place your prayer requests on the tear off section of our Sunday Bulletin or feel free to ask one of our ushers for our special Prayer Request Cards.  You may place your prayer request in the offering plate during Sunday worship services.

Sunday Morning Prayer...

Recognizing the importance of God's presence, direction, guidance, and intervention across the full spectrum of church activities and the Christian life, the Prayer Ministry Team's focus is to provide active prayer support for Pastor Tim, the congregation and staff.  The areas of focus include the Sunday morning worship service with a team praying before the service at 8:45 a.m.

Monthly Prayer Newsletter...

Prayer Connection is a monthly publication with church prayer needs listed, an adult and a youth devotional to help build and strengthen your prayer life.

Participation in Prayer Ministry...

If God is calling you to participate in prayer through organized groups, prayer teams, or other activities, Northside Baptist Church offers many opportunities to intercede for others and to let others know that you are praying for them.

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."      Mark 11:24
